Doug was born and raised in Long Island, New York. During his schools days he developed a love for football and LaCrosse and quickly excelled in those sports, receiving a football scholarship to the college he attended.
Previous to entering the field of Real Estate, Doug taught and coached in the Virginia Beach Public School System and at Norfolk Academy. He then entered Real Estate in 1985 where he has acheived membership in the Million Dollar Sales Club and the Hampton Roads Realtors Association Circle of Excellence.
His Real Estate career has allowed him to be an award winning Realtor as well as a Managing Broker for various Real Estate Companies throughout his career.
Doug is an avid outdoorsman, and loves almost all outdoor activities. Some of his favorites include hiking, biking, camping and hunting.
Doug is married to wife Linda and has two adult children, Morgan (25) and Kyle (23).
